We have invaded the Gate City once again for another session of our Phenom 150 camp, this platform follows the prestigious top 80 camp.' The 150 camp really offers younger unknown players an initial chance to break onto the scene and gain notoriety throughout the state.

Greensboro, North Carolina- With a nice balanced mix of young talent and unsigned seniors vying to make an impact late in the signing stages, this session exceeded expectations in my humble opinion. After two complete rounds of games let’s examine some early stock risers, helped to increase their value heading into a big Spring rapidly approaching.

#15 5’10 2020 Jarrod DeBose (Lejune HS) -' A straight up bulldog at the point guard position, DeBose absolutely gets after. DeBose looked good running the break, in transition DeBose is quick with the basketball and always has his head up looking to the open man.

DeBose was really efficient in game one for his side, DeBose did damage at the cup, he’s a smaller guard but DeBose is built like a power back his upper body strength allows him to absorb and finish through contact. DeBose played some off ball and proved to be a capable catch and shoot option. DeBose never hesitated to attack the dirty work, at 5’10 he’s a surpisngly effective rebounder, and DeBose will make winning plays like competing for every 50/50 ball.

Jones passes the rock with flair, he delivered accurate timely dimes to hit teammates in their strides for easy buckets.' Jones utilizes the entire floor, he’s quick and Jones has the ball on a string. Defensively Jones made his match ups uncomfortable by smothering the basketball, Jones was the main communicator on that end making sure everyone knew where screens were and where rotations needed to be. Jones is definitely a candidate to breakout in the upcoming travel ball season with Team' Winston .

#23 5’11 2022 Kolbe Ashe (Hayesville HS) – Personally the more I saw Ashe on the ball the more I admired the youngsters game, Ashe really pushes the pace end to end and his head is always up looking to make the right pass. Ashe is a steady ball handler, he’s got some drip in his dribble the crossover is smooth.ka
