Getting it done on the court and off:

Jenkins had a tremendous season at River Bluff high school, averaging 13.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, helping him earn multiple accomplishments this past season.  He was named Region V 5A All-Region team, Region V 5A Player of the Year, and to the SCBCA 5A All-State team.

Jenkins really takes pride on the defensive side of the ball, embracing the matchups he faces.  He also does a tremendous job on the boards from the perimeter spot.  Coach Lee said that he is extremely hard working in practice that helps sets the tone.

Outside the basketball court, Jenkins is an outstanding student, posting a 3.9 GPA.  He also has been part of the 2019-2020 golf team at River Bluff.

Coach’s Thoughts:

“Myles is a big strong young man that is able to use his strength to gain position over a defender. He has been very effective in getting his defender into the paint and then finishing over him. He has also really developed his pull up jumper. This has been a great complimentary piece to his game. Myles consistently asks questions about his game, what he can work on as a player. He also is very inquisitive about various schemes and his role in them. He really wants to grow as a player. Developed into a great vocal leader for our team last year and I look forward to continued growth in his leadership in the upcoming season.” – Coach Ben Lee
