Murphy is a blue-collar machine. This stud brings intense energy and passion every minute of the game with his nonstop hustle. He can score effectively on all three levels, but his strengths are explosive moves off the bounce and fierce finishes. He is a dazzling passer and willing to do whatever he can to win. Scrappy getting offensive putbacks. He is relentless on the boards and defense. Murphy takes up the challenge to lock up the best player on the other team. With that length and speed, he is special on both ends. Gritty and tough with determination he drives his team with an unselfish swagger.

Murphy’s biggest improvement over the AAU was better ball control and handling pressure. Last season, he averaged 9.5 pts, 4rebs, and 2asts while shooting 48 percent from three. He elevated his game way beyond that in the summer and carried right over into the fall league where he is a double-double machine. He earned his first D1 offer in the process. Cade set goals for the upcoming season to be a better floor general and leader and get that championship trophy. Hungry to be a champion.

Coaches should know his shooting ability and how he sees plays before they develop is what sets him apart. Murphy is one of the hardest-working stars I saw this year and that translates into a high ceiling for future development and growth as a player. Always working and won’t ever quit. You have to catch Cade this season as this train is picking up steam.
