Beth Haven v. Beckley IJN Game Recap

Day Three of Phenom Hoops’ Country Roads Holiday Invitational kicked off with an incredible battle between Beth Haven and Beckley IJN. The Beckley IJN squad entered this game with the talent advantage but that didn’t deter the local Beth Haven from competing with a ton of heart. Beth Haven came out, secured the lead, and went toe-to-toe with Beckley IJN for a vast majority of the first half. Beckley IJN entered halftime with a quality lead but Beth Haven immediately reasserted themselves to start the second half. It was a back-and-forth battle, but Beckley IJN did a great job of maintaining their lead until the final buzzer. Matt Spaulding was unbelievable for Beth Haven while Saliou Nguer and Curtis Houston led the way for Beckely IJN. It was a terrific game, as Beckley IJN secured an 81-63 victory over Beth Haven.
