Sometimes you are able to just watch a kid play and know that he is Going Tobe good. Watching Isaih Moore growing up, you could tell with his length and skill set that he was going to be something.

Moore has now shot up, growing from 5’8” as an 8th grader to now 6’5” as a junior. That 6’5” is lengthy, with the possibility that he is not done yet. The skill set still remains, as his jump shot is feathery and his handle is aggressive when he gets downhill.

After his performance at the prestigious South Carolina Top 80, we wrote, “Moore carries a smooth skill set and good understanding for the game. He has really long arms which enables him to defend multiple positions on the floor. Moore’s camp coach Austin Reid stated, “Isiah has a high motor and competes hard each possession. He also rebounds the ball at an extremely high rate, which is a testament to how hard he works.” As Moore continues to progress, he will need to add strength, but there is very nice upside here.”

At Saturday’s SCBCA Moore showed an even more diverse skill set. He was able to score at all 3-leves. He took the bigger guys on the perimeter and the smaller guys on the post. He was very coordinated with great hands, catching passes from all angles. He still has great touch, and is very vocal on the defensive end.

Moore, who is going into his junior season at Sumter High School, is a player whose star is quickly on the rise. Watch closely, and enjoy the growth here.
