A nationally ranked prospect by several outlets, 2024 Annor Boateng should be a name many are familiar with or start to get familiar with. The 6’5 prospect from Arkansas has been racking in some impressive early offers, which include Memphis, Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, and Texas A&M.
Phenom Hoops quickly caught up with Boateng to just check in on the latest with his recruitment and some of the latest.
Phenom: How has everything been going as far as basketball'
Boateng: It has been pretty good so far, been doing well during the Adidas LIVE Periods.
Phenom: Who are you playing with this summer'
Boateng: Arkansas Hawks.
Phenom: How would you best describe your game on the court'
Boateng: I would say I’m an inside-out player, so I would make layups and mid-range before moving out to the three.
Phenom: You hold multiple offers already, several big ones including Memphis, Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, and Texas A&M. Who has been staying in on you strong early on'
Boateng: Arkansas.
Phenom: What have you been hearing from them'
Boateng: They have been talking about their incoming recruiting class and how they are projected to be No. 1 next year. They also talk about their work ethic and how they strive to be better every day.
Phenom: From the area, have you been able to visit that program'
Boateng: Yeah, I’ve gone to the campus to watch their red and white games. They also invited me to watch one of their college games as well.
Phenom: What other interests do you have from schools'
Boateng: UCLA, LSU, Illinois, and that is all I can think about off the top of my head.
Phenom: Do you have any future visits'
Boateng: I don’t have any visits planned as of right now.
