2026 6’8 Cutter Sisk has been a well-known name for Phenom Hoops over the years, including introducing him to many back in early 2024. From then on, he has only continued to showcase his skill set, feel, and improvement as a big man.  From a hidden gem to a D1 target, Sisk has seen his stock rise quickly, and now he is recruitment is looking to come to an end. He recently announced that he is down to four schools, and a program looks to be getting a hidden gem.

Phenom Hoops was one of the first to talk about Sisk and his skillset, having said this recently:

“Sisk is a real offensive weapon with such an incredible skill level that he’s able to effortlessly dismantle opposing defenses in various ways. Whether posting up on the block, operating from the elbows, or stationing himself at the top of the key, all eyes are on him. It didn’t seem to matter if teams were sending two (and sometimes even three) bodies to contain him, Sisk would either attack before the help arrived or quickly locate open teammates as a passer. He carves out space so well around the basket and reliably controls the glass as a two-way rebounder. Sisk isn’t a traditional rim-protector, but he does display great timing and positioning to block shots at a useful rate. He stands out as a terrific teammate and leader by example.”

Phenom Hoops was able to catch up with Sisk to ask him about his final four schools of Central Arkansas, Richmond, Wofford, and Kennesaw State, as he will be making his announcement later this month. See what he had to say about each school.

Central Arkansas:

“Central Arkansas had a great team culture, and I’ve built great relationships with all the coaches from all the schools.”

Richmond:

“For them, it’s what they stand for and the intentionality of them reaching out.”

Wofford:

“Once again, the team culture and the upside of the program. Also, at first, they were marked off because of the coaching situation, but coach Giltner has been awesome to talk to and get to know.”

Kennesaw State:

“The campus life is awesome, and they are known for playing freshman.”

When talking more to Sisk about his decision coming up, we had to ask what would be a deciding factor in his decision.

“The opportunity for play time, and the coaches and players’ culture,” he said. Sisk will be announcing his decision on October 17th, giving the program a true gem of a prospect.
