The Phenom Hoop State Fall League (West) has been a showcase for talent across all positions, but it was the big men who often set the tone with their size, skill, and presence around the basket. From underclassmen already proving to be premier prospects to upperclassmen sharpening their games for bigger roles, the frontcourt talent was on full display. These players not only controlled the paint with physicality and rebounding but also showed versatility with touch, mobility, and even range from the perimeter. After evaluating the competition, these are the best big men that stood out and solidified themselves as names to watch moving forward.

2028 Truman Bullington (Moravian Prep)

Bullington may have been the best big man we saw at the Fall League, displaying great size, fluidity, skill around the basket, and comfort in stretching the floor from the perimeter. An impressive big man that college coaches will take notice of quickly.

2027 Mason Robinson (Celtics)

Robinson brings strength, physicality, and feel in the paint, as he towers over many opponents and does a great job in finishing around the basket. Continues to make a strong presence on both sides in helping control the paint.

2026 LaJalin Overton (Mavericks)

Overton, when he was on the Mavericks, really caught our eyes with his energy and willingness to put his body on the line. He brought energy all over the court for his team, as well as being a strong athlete in finishing at the rim.

2027 Braden Miller (Lake Boys)

Miller is a fluid big man who could be in for an eye-opening season, especially with his ability to run the floor, put the ball on the deck, ability to carve out space and operate in the paint, and show such a soft touch around the basket.

2026 Cam Smith (Team Together)

Though Lincolnton will be losing some key guys, Smith has a chance to really shine for this team with his motor and physicality, having no issue in battling and finishing at the rim. True competitor and physical presence on the court.

2026 Pavlo Markiv (Team Vision)

Markiv continues to make strides with his development, and he will be a key piece for this team in providing size and impact on both sides of the court. The 6’8 big can score well around the rim as well as be a relentless energy on the glass.
