The Hoopstate Fall League West once again provided a stage for players across North Carolina to showcase their skill, toughness, and development heading into the upcoming season. From emerging young prospects to established names continuing to prove themselves, the competition was high-level and packed with standout performances. Here are some of the players who left their mark on Saturday’s action.
2026 6’5 Bryan Little (Piedmont)
Bryan Little continues to stand out as one of North Carolina’s hardest-playing and most productive players. With a nonstop motor, he relentlessly battles in the paint, using his athleticism and strength to finish through contact at the rim. Little consistently impacts both ends of the floor, bringing toughness, energy, and tremendous value to his team every time he steps on the court.
2027 6’8 Braden Miller (Lake Norman)
Braden Miller provides a strong interior presence with his size and physicality. He battles for position, secures rebounds, and finishes well with reliable hands around the basket. Miller also spaces the floor effectively, giving his team versatility in the front court.
2026 6’1 Austin Kopecky (Lake Norman)
Austin Kopecky is an impressive guard who consistently finds ways to impact the game. He attacks lanes with purpose, creates space with ease, and finishes strong around the rim. Kopecky does the little things on both ends of the floor—playing scrappy, smart, and reliable basketball for his team.
2026 6’5 Braylen Cheek (Cuthbertson)
Braylen Cheek is a high-motor forward who brings energy and versatility to the floor. He makes smart decisions in the post and high post, can step out and knock down shots, and consistently provides value as a rebounder and rim protector.
2026 6’3 Josiah Bridges (West Meck)
Josiah Bridges is a strong, aggressive driver who consistently makes winning plays for his team. He contributes on the boards, facilitates the offense, and brings a vocal, commanding presence on the floor. Bridges continues to grow as a leader, making an impact on both ends of the court.
2027 6’3 Zyon White (Chambers)
Zyon White is a guard with excellent size and a lethal shooting touch. White attacks closeouts with confidence, can finish at the rim, and consistently makes the extra pass when opportunities arise. He can create with the ball in his hands, but he’s at his best in spot-up situations, moving effectively without the ball to find open space.
