2026 Josiah Guyton (Team Together)

Lincolnton will look way different than last year but there is plenty of talent to have this program to gather wins this season. Guyton will be an underrated player to keep an eye on this season for them, as he put on a strong showing in Week 3. A long, wiry prospect, Guyton was able to make his presence felt in so many areas, whether it was creating and driving, finishing at the rim with multiple throwdowns, knocking down shots off the catch, and also playing with a ton of energy on the defensive end.

2027 Makih Philyaw (Highland Creek)

Philyaw was a player who captured our eyes over the summer at times and was strong again in Week 3 of the Fall League. He continues to be a strong scoring presence on the court, creating off the bounce, getting by defenders, and displaying good overall speed in attacking the defense. He brings a scrappy attitude to the floor for his team, which he is able to show both offensively and defensively.  It will be interesting to watch more of his game this upcoming season.

2027 Tyvunn Quick (Stanly County Timberwolves)

Albemarle is a team that has opened some eyes throughout the Fall League, and in Week 3, it was the play of guard Tyvunn Quick that earned our attention. Especially in Game 2, Quick was relentless in his attack, doing an excellent job in getting by defenders, attacking the paint, getting to the basket, and finding ways to get to the rim. He played with relentless energy that allowed him to flourish and lead his team, as he looks to build off of that performance heading into the season.

 2027 Mac Habenicht (Mav Academy)

Though it was a strong day overall for Mav Academy, Habenicht stepped up in key situations and has been having a strong overall Fall League. As a 6’4 prospect, Habenicht did a great job finding ways to play within the offense but also hurting opponents from the perimeter. Time after time, he was able to pop out and knock down shots with range and confidence, being a big weapon for his team in key situations. But he also used his length well in making plays off the bounce, making high-IQ decisions, and competing hard on both sides of the ball.

2028 Andrew Putman (Eagles)

Putnam is a player who has stood out to me the last few weeks. What he provides to this team is very intriguing, playing a vital role on both sides of the floor. Overall, Putnam just finds ways to bring energy to the court, competing on the defensive end, playing with a high motor, and finding ways to bring a balanced attack offensively.  He was able to attack and get downhill on several occasions, but does a lot of the little things you have to like for this team.

2027 Jacob Mills (Team Blue)

Mills had a very good overall Week 3 in leading his team. He continues to flourish and be a big part of the team’s success on the court and when he is hitting, he can open up a lot of things for his team. On Saturday, he we tremendous in showing how big of a difference-maker he can be, knocking down shots, hitting several threes with a ton of confidence and with deep range. But again, Mills has continued to work hard in adding more to his overall game, as you had a chance to watch that in Game 2. Though shots were falling from outside, he mixed it up well with his ability to put it on the deck, make plays in transition, finish over defenders, and also find ways to get to the line.
