Top-50 2026 wing Bo Ogden (Westlake High School, Austin, TX) has officially committed to Texas, selecting the Longhorns over finalists including Tennessee and Purdue. His decision continues a strong narrative at Texas, where his father, Chris Ogden, currently serves as the men’s basketball general manager and played collegiately under Rick Barnes.

Ogden brings size, shooting, and creation to Austin. Standing out as a movement shooter, he connects off screens, shoots with a high release point, and has shown improvement as a handler to create for himself and others.  His legacy connection gives Texas an edge, but his fit and upside made it more than just lineage. He checks boxes as a two-way wing who can stretch the floor, defend multiple spots, and grow with the program. With his commitment, Texas shores up its 2026 class with a talented perimeter piece who can contribute early and evolve into a key contributor.
