Jay Lawson’s Breakdown:
2029 Myra Ukwu 6’0 G/F (CP3 Flames), is a very intriguing prospect in her class. Her ability to play 1-4 makes her extremely valuable on both ends of the floor. She communicates well with her teammates & displays a very high IQ on the court. I’ve watched her game develop in many ways throughout the summer, every showing she added something new to her arsenal. She’s improved her outside shot tremendously. She’s always had the ability to get downhill and finish at the rim, but now she has a plethora of counters that make her difficult to defend. She’s very active on defense, her length gives her the ability to stay in front of smaller guards as well as wall up against bigger players & contest shots at the rim. I see her finishing up as one of the top players in NC in the 2029 class because of her drive & love for the game. She already holds some D1 offers & I look forward to seeing that list continue to grow as she continues to grow.
