Statesville (Greyhound U)
We recently wrote about Statesville not long ago, as this team is one to keep an eye on, as they look to change things up and preview some intriguing talent. You can find that article below:
It will be highly interesting to see what this roster will be able to produce and if they can start taking the next step with their development. Of course, when you look at the roster that will be on display, 2027 MJ Gladden and 2028 Paul Cauthen will be two who highlight and lead. Gladden has good size at 6’4 and has shown that he can impact the game in a variety of areas, as well as be a strong scoring option; he will be one that college coaches will want to check out more and learn. Cauthen is a difference maker on both sides of the ball, both as a scorer and an impact player on the defensive side. He had a strong summer throughout and he looks to make his name well known even more throughout North Carolina.
But when looking at this roster, there is a strong blend of experience, talent, and young prospects to watch out for, many of which we will learn more about in the coming weeks. Greyhound U (Statesville) though ,will be a team to really watch more in the coming weeks at the Hoop State Fall League.
