The talent in the Class of 2028 here in North Carolina is shaping up quite nicely, as we continue to learn more names and discover new talents around the state.  But one thing is for sure already, 2028 6’0 Justice Alexander has proven that she will be one of the top players in her class. Alexander has been one we have watched for several years now, and it was easy to see the talent and potential in her game. Back in 2022, when she was still in middle school, we had this to say:

“Justice is the daughter of De’Angelo Alexander who played at Oklahoma and Charlotte from 2003-2007, and it seems that Justice has learned quite a bit from her father.  When watching Alexander, she brings a ton of versatility to the court, really showing her ability to impact the game in all manners.  Whether it was her creating off the dribble, creating her own shot, scoring from the paint, showcasing her confident jumper from multiple levels, attacking the boards, or making plays for her teammates, Alexander simply did it all on the court.  It was quite impressive to watch for a prospect of her age and it was easy to see that she will be a name many will know about very quickly.”

We backed that up last year when watching her in our Lady Phenom Hoops events:

“When watching her operate on the court early on, she checked off a lot of boxes, including her size and early understanding of the game. Fast-forward to today, and she has only gotten bigger, stronger, and has developed her overall feel for the game even more.  Alexander has an advanced feel for the game as a freshman; she sees the floor well, displays pace and strong feel, can create her own shot, can operate well from the perimeter, and understands using her 6’1 frame to score around the basket as well. She has a rare blend in her game, but also finds ways to make her impact felt in other ways. Alexander is one who doesn’t force the action but lets it come to her, taking what the defense gives her, and she truly can be an effective three-level scorer. Again, she is just starting her high school story here in North Carolina, but it is easy to see why schools have already offered her and more will be coming sooner rather than later.”

Alexander is one of the premier talents around the area, which is why schools are already making her an early priority, with several offers coming her way.

Recruitment:

Though she is still part of the Class of 2028, Alexander’s recruitment has already been heating up in a big way. Already holding a few offers early on, schools have been coming her way with offers, as her list continues to grow. Appalachian State, followed by Temple, Fordham, Stony Brook, and Davidson have all come as of late, but we don’t expect that trend to stop any time soon.

Alexander has already proven that she will be a factor not only as one of the top prospects in her class for North Carolina, but should clearly be in the talks as a national prospect around the country. And we believe more schools will be coming her way sooner rather than later.
