Talk about a player impressing us at the US Open Basketball Championships in Kansas City this past weekend… 2029 5’11 Jaiyana Bogan-Jacobs is already a name worth watching and that will only continue to be seen as she will be regarded as one of the premier talents in the country in the coming years.
As Dream City rolled through the competition this past weekend, it was Bogan-Jacobs leading the charge with her impressive game. She is one that has great size and feel, long arms, and is an athletic prospect at her age. She was excellent in being able to create and attack downhill, get out in transition, and mix it up offensively inside and out all weekend long, as Bogan-Jacobs was a strong scoring option. But she gets it done on both sides of the court, bringing that same offensive intensity to the defensive side as well. She is an absolute competitor on the court, and that will carry her a long way in the coming years, as we are certain she will be finding her name in the national ranks shortly.
