We love to head down south to South Carolina to learn and highlight more players from a state that goes a bit under the radar as far as talent. One sophomore that has been leading the list and playing at a high level has been 2025 6’5 Zeke Marshall at Westside high school.
Marshall has been one of the clear leaders for Westside who sits at 23-2 overall, and the sophomore has been quite effective in a variety of ways with his game. So we wanted to dive into learning a little bit more about the rising prospect.
First off, Marshall is a dual-sport player that has not only been getting it done on the court, but he is catching the attention of many with his play at safety for football.
On the court though, Marshall has been averaging 16.7 points per game, has been recording 6.2 rebounds, has shown that he can be strong inside as well as effective from the perimeter, and brings versatility with his size.
When speaking with Marshall, here is what he had to say about his game and how he likes to operate:
“I really can do all things such as shoot from three, attack from the wing and play defense, and rebounding. Also, I have a good mid-range shot.”
Though it is early, Marshall also reported that he is getting strong interest early on in both basketball and football, as there could be opportunities for him to play at the next level in both. But for now, the sophomore is one that should be getting more attention with his production, his size, his ability to score from multiple levels, and his impact on the court.
