Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.
Here is the latest commitment.
Player: Sean Rose
Class: 2023
Committed to: Navy
What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:
“Rose had a very good showing for his team and the senior will be looking to help lead the charge this year once again. Rose has simply continued to grow and develop his game from when we first watched him. He brings strong production to the table with his 6’6 long frame, as the athletic forward was assertive on the boards and showed that he can be effective from a variety of levels on the floor. Whether it was stretching the defense or impacting the game in the paint, Rose was able to really fill up the stat sheet on Saturday.”
“We only continue to see Rose’s name pop up as a standout, as the 6’6 long prospect has been making play after play this summer. The long forward uses his length well inside the arc, attacking the glass, but also showing his ability to finish at the rim or step out for his mid-range shot. But he also gave us a glimpse on a few occasions more with his range, hitting multiple threes as well. Can help stretch the floor with his ability to knock down shots.”
“Rose has had a strong year overall and has been a standout on many occasions. He possibly had his best outing throughout the weekend on Day 3, as Rose continues to get stronger and develop his overall feel. His comfort level in stepping out, bringing a presence in the paint on both sides of the floor, and his ability to finish or get on the boards are all factors that should attract college coaches his way.”
“Sean Rose provided valuable length, athleticism, and versatility to this Charlotte Latin roster. He has the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. On the offensive end, the lefty can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, he crashes the glass hard for put-backs, and he can face up and drive it from the high post. Defensively, he uses his length to contest shots and rebound the basketball. Rose finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.”
