Combine Academy has been producing a lot of talent, but many may only look and think of the national team at times. That shouldn’t be the case, as the regional and post-grad teams both have some tremendous talent to watch out for as well. One of those prospects is 2022 Liam Craven.
You hear time and time again… college programs of all levels are looking for shooters. Well, Craven is one of those prospects and has shown it on countless occasions throughout the summer and through the Hoop State League. Craven continues to show his extremely confident outside shot, getting to his spots, finding holes in the defense, and knocking down multiple threes from all over the floor. He has terrific footwork and a very fluid release to his shot; you are more surprised when he misses a shot from behind the arc. But Craven also helps in other areas, as he has a natural understanding of the game and how to operate; love his feel and is one that doesn’t take a team out of their offense but just capitalizes on the situation.
Craven just received an offer from West Virginia Tech but he should be on the radar for several schools, especially ones that continue to say that they are looking for shooters.
