Personal: Jonathan is the youngest of six accomplished siblings. He is the brother of former McDonalds All-American and Texas point guard Myck Kabongo who had a brief stint in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs. His oldest brother Emmanuel is a Canadian actor and producer. His sister Vanessa played her college basketball at the University of Delaware and his cousin Christian Kabongo played for the New Mexico State Aggies…Jonathan scored a career high 42 points in a February 2015 win for Huntington Prep.

An elite playmaker who most scouts contend is more polished than his McDonald’s All American brother Myck at this point in his career, Jonathan can stroke threes with excellent consistency and also has a polished mid range game. He has excellent defensive footwork and plays in the offensive players bubble and does not get beat! So graceful in his movement on the court, the quick and long Kabongo covers a lot of court defensively and is an impact defender.
