6’0 ’18 Malcolm Wade enjoyed a solid year with Metrolina Christian. He received MAC All Conference honors and was second on the team in scoring with 15 PPG. In addition, he averaged 3 APG, 3 RPG, and 1.3 SPG. Metrolina Christian head coach stated, “Malcolm posses a strong ability to get to the rim and has significantly improved his jump shot this season. His strength and quickness got him to the free throw line a team high 183 times.”
Malcolm has been a regular at the NC Phenom 150 camp and continues to make impressions on his skill set. More importantly, Malcolm is well grounded and has made contributions in the classroom and in the community. Malcolm sports a 3.0 GPA and also volunteers at youth basketball clinics and Charlotte food shelters. This summer he will be playing AAU for Team United 17U. He is anxious to get the travel ball season going. He has a lot to prove and may just be one of the nice surprises this April.
