Just a young man from Chicago, head coach Antonio Lowe and Winston Salem Christian have themselves a new face that will be part of their program for the future.
2023 6’8 Aries Hull comes from Chicago and will be transferring to Winston-Salem Christian. He plays down low at the 4 or 5 position and he would say he works best in the low post, getting on the boards and being a defensive presence for his team.
“I take pride in playing hard and trying to grab every board I see,” he told Phenom Hoops.
Hull wanted to come to North Carolina though to play for a coach that could take his game and his body to the next level. His heart and love still remain for Chicago but he simply just wanted a little different environment.
“I’m hoping to show my growth and development in my game over the time and show North Carolina what Chicago toughness is really like.”
It is still incredibly early with his recruitment but he already holds an offer from Detroit Mercy and others have they eyes early on Hull.
