We got an opportunity to watch Rilee Epley for the first time at the inaugural Indiana Top 80. We were quite impressed with his overall skill set and knowledge of the game. In our Indiana Top 80 review, we stated, “Consistency may just be Epley’s calling card. He plays at such a consistent pace and there are few downs in his overall game. He’s a high IQ player that will score from the framework of the offense. Epley is one of these guys that does a lot of little things well. He has a team first approach and plays well within the team structure.”
Rilee has made a reputation for his craftiness and ability to score. He’s an efficient scorer and has the ability to score within the framework of the offense especially in half court setting. He is averaging a double double (23.3 PPG and 10.1 RPG) for Evansville Day School. What’s even more impressive is Rilee is shooting 60% from the floor in route to his team’s high scoring average.
Rilee is definitely one to put in your SIM CARD. The sophomore wing simply knows how to score and rebound. He’s a high IQ player that is developing as a total all around prospect. More importantly, he can score from levels on the court, but does it with patience and poise.
