The NC Phenom 150 Spring Evaluation Camp took place Saturday, March 14th and the talent level was strong from top to bottom. Today, we will take a look at some of the players from each individual team. Each camp coach was to fill out a detailed individual player evaluation. While we try to focus on upside and potential, we also look carefully at intangibles such as attitude, cooperation, work ethic and team play. We hope to capture a thorough detailed resume for each player in attendance.
Jeffrey Phillips – #152
“Jeffrey has a silent killer on his jump shot and he moves without the ball very well. He constantly looks to pick up the loose balls on the floor, no matter where it is. With more work on his ball handling, quickness, and mid-range game, he has the potential to be a solid shooting guard at the next level.”
Areas of Excellence: Attitude, acceptance of criticism, effort, team play, range of mid-range shot, catch and shoot, shooting off the dribble, ability to finish
Areas of Work: Back to the basket moves, use of off hand, penetration ability, ball handling, quickness, defense on and off the ball
Jordan Brown – #191
“Jordan is an explosive player. He attacks the basket with great strength and he also has the ability to finish above the rim. Jordan has the potential to be a solid player that coaches would love to have. Even though he’s a power forward, he showed the ability to use his ball handling and quickness to attack the basket aggressively, yet, confusing the defense by showing a consistent mid-range jump shot.

Nolan Roy – #227
“Nolan is a coachable kid that always looking to improve and get better. He is a well mannered and respectful kid and was very active on the floor and the ball always seemed to find him. Nolan is a team player. I loved coaching him and seeing his strengths blossom game by game in the boards, with his mid-range game, and in transition.”
Areas of Excellence: Attitude, basketball IQ, team play, defense on and off the ball, midrange shot, shooting mechanics, ability to finish
Areas of Work: range of shot outside the arc, catch and shoot, penetration ability
Quinten Moore – #52
“Quinton is a fine player to watch. He has a great mid-range and three point shot beyond the arc. He also showed a great ability to pass the ball and get his teammates involved. Excellence court vision as a player and I loved coaching this kid. Best of luck down the road.”

Camden Hughes – #51
“Camden has a high basketball IQ. He certainly has the potential to play at the next level. He is a pure point guard and always looks to create for himself and his teammates. Camden has superb ball handling skills along with quickness to pentrate and draw defenders. He is a high quality playmaker that coaches would love to have. Ceiling is certainly high for this kid.”

Jacob Dunmyer – #153
“Jacob has a very good mid-range jumpshot and he constantly looks to create for his teammates in the open floor. I enjoyed coaching Jacob as he is a very respectful kid that looks for improvement with his all around game. Jacob showed a great ability to pass the ball and create opportunities for his teammates.”

Isaac Cook – #102
“Isaac demonstrated great hustle and teamwork when he was on the court. He has a solid mid-range jump shot and he has the threat at the shooting guard position. Unfortunately, Isaac had to leave the camp early, so I didn’t really get to fully dissect his game.”
