6’1 ’21 JaQuantae Harris (Taking It By Force)

After a huge showing last week in Fayetteville, we were expecting big things from JaQuantae Harris at Phenom David Rose. He was exceptional in the first contest, carrying the load offensively while securing plenty of rebounds and forcing turnovers. Harris has made a case for himself as one of the toughest all-around guards in North Carolina.

6’0 ’21 Jack Carter (Team Loaded Stephens)

Team Loaded Stephens won their first matchup of Phenom David Rose behind the strong play of Jack Carter. The six-foot combo guard is a natural at putting the ball in the basket, leading all scorers with 19 points and getting it done on all three levels. Carter also showcased the ability to make plays without the ball on defense and spot-up opportunities.

6’2 ’21 Maizen Price (Team Loaded Stephens)

Aside from the aforementioned Harris, Maizen Price had the most potential of any prospect on display. At 6-foot-2, Price has great length and causes matchup problems with his ball-handling abilities. He was able to penetrate well and make plays inside, but watch for Price to continue making noise with his intense two-way play.

6’1 ’21 Cole Sinclair (Durham Hurricanes)

Durham Hurricanes rolled their way to a huge win in the first contest of Phenom David Rose behind a strong team effort. Sinclair is still the leader of this team and knows how to create quality opportunities for others. His scoring was needed today, as he shot the ball efficiently and led all scorers with 21 points (including five three-pointers).

6’4 ’20 Drake Thompson (Durham Hurricanes)

There is no questioning Thompson’s significance on this Durham Hurricanes squad. Year after year, he’s been their best rebounder and interior scoring threat, but now he’s finishing more of his offensive chances than ever before. Thompson truly has a high motor and is one of the most effective two-way players from the Durham area.

6’2 ’20 Logan Jones (Charlotte Nets)

The Charlotte Nets struggled in their first contest but enjoyed a strong showing from Jones, a long-bodied wing prospect who knows how to impact all facets of a game. He didn’t dominate any one statistical category, however, his presence was felt on both ends of the floor. Jones has upside as a versatile defender and displayed the ability to drive to the basket throughout this game.
