Kannon McBride

The Phenom Rise Showcase once again provided a stage for standout talent, and few made a bigger impression than the trio from 7th Nation Warriors. Bringing a mix of skill, toughness, and production, this group consistently delivered throughout the weekend, impacting the game in a variety of ways. Whether it was scoring, playmaking, or setting the tone defensively, the trio proved they belong among the names to watch, showcasing their ability to compete and thrive on the Phenom Hoops platform.

2027 5’10 Zarion Hobbs

Hobbs has a tremendous high school season and seems to be carrying that over into summer ball. He is a high-IQ guard who demonstrates the ability to lead a team, play with feel and pace, and showcase creativity with the ball in his hands. He finds ways to break down defenders and score off the bounce, as well as being a weapon from the perimeter. Hobbs can be an impact player on both sides of the ball, and he proves that he can fill it up.

2027 6’1 Jamarion Washington

Washington has been a player we have been highly intrigued with over the years, coming off an impressive high school season and looking to shine even more during the summer. When we have watched him in action, Washington has been able to flourish with the ball on the deck, attacking and finishing through contact, constantly attacking with speed, and finding ways to get to his spots.  He is a strong guard who always seems to be in attack mode, filling it up.

2027 6’3 Kannon McBride

Talk about a player that captured some attention at the event, McBride really shone as a tough shot-maker on the court. He brings strong athleticism and plays with toughness in his game. Time after time, he hit some tough jumpers from mid-range and deeper, as he showed he could be an impactful scorer and lead his team offensively. A new name to watch, and also a dual-sport athlete.
