Regarded as one of the top prospects in the country and one of the biggest risers of the last year or so, 2027 6’8 DeMarcus Henry announced his Top 8 schools on his YouTube page.

In an interview, Henry announced that North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, UConn, Ohio State, Arkansas, Louisville, and BYU are all in the hunt for his talents, and it will be interesting to see who will come out on top.

Phenom Hoops recently wrote about Henry after watching him at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where we had this to say:

“Henry finished the event leading all scorers at 20 points per game, along with 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and shooting 52 percent from the floor, 40 percent from three, and 87 percent from the free throw line. Henry’s shot-making was quite impressive, clearly showing how effective he is as a multi-level scorer, whether it is creating off the bounce, playing off the ball and knocking down shots from three, or mixing it up and finding ways to get to the free throw line. His blend of size, attacking tenacity, ability to set up opponents and create space for his shot, and touch in scoring over defenders was impressive, and he was also a clear impact player in a variety of other areas. It is why he is now becoming a Top 5 prospect in the country, with big names looking to secure his commitment.”
