Phenom Hoops was back in action at the Phenom Grassroots TOC, where talent was on full display from start to finish. With teams and players bringing high-level competition across every division, the depth of talent truly stood out. As always, our staff was on hand to evaluate and identify some of the premier prospects that made their mark, and we now take a closer look at a few of the standout performers who caught our attention throughout the weekend.
2028 Tre Jefferson
Jefferson has been a name that has caught our attention before, but at this event, he was able to really shine and showcase his ability to be a dynamic guard in leading the way. Jefferson has demonstrated to be a high-IQ guard that makes quality decisions, is capable of initiating and running the offense, one who sees the floor, and brings a strong balance between scoring and facilitating. At this event though, Jefferson played with a bit more assertiveness in attacking off the bounce, breaking down defenders, getting by opponents with his speed, and doing a great job in mixing it up off the bounce and shot-making from outside. Jefferson really flourished as an impact guard on both sides of the court, as he clearly showcased his development as a prospect.
2028 Neo Davis
Davis continues to prove why he is such a key piece to his team’s success, putting together a strong showing with his poised and fundamentally sound play. A smart decision-maker with the ball in his hands, Davis consistently plays under control while making the right reads and keeping the offense flowing. He brings a balanced scoring attack, showing the ability to knock down shots as a spot-up threat while also creating effectively off the bounce. What stands out most is his toughness—finishing through contact, navigating defenders, and producing as a reliable shot-maker. Davis offers a steady, all-around presence in the backcourt and continues to make his impact felt in multiple ways.
