Player: Tjay Brunson

The Class of 2028 has several players trending in the right direction, but there are players who are just starting their story. One of those players, whom I’ve talked about on SEVERAL occasions in the past, is continuing to see his stock rise this season and should start being looked at on a bigger stage.

2028 6’6 Tjay Brunson (Cleveland HS) has been having a huge season this season, showcasing more of his potential and growth as he looks to be trending as a high-major prospect, something we have said in the past, way before his stock rise. In the past, you could see the flashes that Brunson had to offer as a prospect, a 6’6, athletic, versatile prospect that can impact the game in a variety of areas.

Brunson continues to thrive with his production and athleticism, and he continues to add more to his game. Which is why schools like Mississippi State and Wake Forest have now entered the picture with offers, his first two high-major offers. Brunson recently took a visit to Winston-Salem, eventually walking away with an offer.

“The visit went great,” Brunson told Phenom Hoops. “I got to meet the players also. Everyone on the coaching staff is great. They loved my game and how I can play on both sides of the floor. They also loved how I can shoot the three-ball as well.”

In talking more with him, schools like Coastal Carolina and Marquette have been expressing interest as well, as I believe this is just the start for this young man.
