Player: Truman Bullington
Class: 2028
Height: 6’9
School: Moravian Prep

I will tell you this… getting a chance to watch Moravian Prep is always a joy because you always will learn about a new player now in the state of North Carolina. That is no different this season, as I have a tremendous chance to watch this program in action at the Phenom Fall League. We have talked extensively about several prospects, but we have a player to add to that list after Week 3 in 2028 6’9 Truman Bullington.

Watching Bullington recently at the Fall League, this is a young big man who flourishes extremely well and plays more like a veteran than a player in the Class of 2028. Bullington plays with a tremendous motor overall, running the floor, getting to his spots, being active on the glass, and finishing strong at the rim; everything you look for in a big man.  But what impresses you the most is not only his energy level down low but also his ability to comfortably pop out and stretch the floor. Time after time, Bullington was able to open up the offense and be a huge weapon as a stretch forward to knock down shots in pick-and-pop situations, or in other ways.

Bullington’s blend of size, touch, strength, and inside-out ability will make him a highly intriguing prospect in the Class of 2028, as he is showing early on that he should be one of the premier big men in the state.  Right now, he holds offers from Pepperdine and FIU, but expect that list to grow quickly over the years

What Our Scouts Said:

“There are a lot of talented big men in the state right now, and Bullington is arguably as appealing as anyone. Now reclassified to 2028, he clearly has the tools to be a high-level prospect. Bullington possesses a sturdy frame with nice strength, mobility, and the inside-out skill to cause a ton of problems for opponents. He finishes above the rim with regularity and heats up quickly from beyond the arc. Bullington also scores out of the post and sees the floor well as a passer. He’s a steady two-way rebounder and utilizes his length well to alter shots defensively.”
