Player: Blair Haines
Class: 2027
School: Hough
2027 Blair Haines continues to prove why she is one of the steady leaders for Hough, building on the strong impression she made earlier in the year and translating it into consistent production throughout the season. Known for her high IQ, relentless motor, and ability to impact the game in multiple ways, Haines has embraced a primary role for the Huskies while maintaining the same unselfish, team-first approach that first caught attention at the Lady Top 80. Her blend of perimeter shooting, defensive activity, and smart decision-making has helped set the tone as Hough pushes forward late in the season.
Before the start of the season, Haines was a standout at our Lady Top 80 in which we had this to say:
“Between her IQ, motor, unselfishness, and perimeter shooting, she did an excellent job of filling in the gaps for this group. Haines does a little bit of everything while making smart decisions and operating within the flow of the team structure. She moves well without the ball to apply pressure as a spot-up threat and works hard to make her presence felt defensively.”
Haines has only continued that strong play throughout this season, leading the way for the Hough Huskies, looking to build momentum towards the end of the season. Through the season so far, Haines leads the way in scoring at 12.3 points per game, while also being active in the glass, getting others involved, and active defensively. As we mentioned above, she does a little bit of everything on the court, bringing consistent scoring presence, and proving to be able to knock down shots from multiple levels and with range.
As the season comes to an end, Haines’ all-around presence continues to be a key factor in Hough’s success and overall momentum. With her consistent scoring, rebounding effort, and willingness to create opportunities for teammates, she remains a dependable piece on both ends of the floor. If her current trajectory is any indication, Haines is poised to keep elevating her impact while solidifying her reputation as a versatile and reliable contributor in the Class of 2027.
