The Andrew Osborne Academy standout has been steadily building his profile with college programs, and his latest offer from West Virginia only adds to the growing interest surrounding his game. With a unique blend of size, interior presence, and developing versatility, Otite is beginning to position himself as a priority prospect for programs looking to add a strong presence in the paint.

“I play around the paint and use my inside presence. I can come out and attack when needed to and hit a three here and there.”

“I didn’t have a chance to speak to the staff directly,” Otite told Phenom Hoops. “They got in contact with my coach, and he told me.”
“I like the school and what they are all about. I do have to learn a bit more about it and what it has to offer, but early on, I do like the school.”

Right now, besides the offer from West Virginia, Otite holds offers from Cleveland State, Chattanooga, Alcorn State, and Youngstown State. But he has been receiving interest from other schools that have yet to offer, including Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Eastern Michigan, Norfolk State, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
He has already taken visits to Chattanooga, Youngstown State, and Cleveland State, but also mentioned that he would like to visit West Virginia down the road as well.
