What Has Been Said:

“Back in September, he announced that he is down to his final seven schools, which included Ole Miss, Seton Hall, Wake Forest, Houston, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, and Clemson. Well, the senior guard has certainly proven himself early on, showcasing just how exciting he can be on the court. Immediately what Connor is known for is his energy and athleticism, flying high and looking to punish defenders at the rim. But if you have watched his game develop over the years, you can see he has added more to become a well-rounded guard, including improving his perimeter shot-making ability.  Connor can score inside and out, can be electric out in the open floor, and makes his presence felt on the defensive end with his energy and bounce.”

“When you talk about his game, the words “explosive” and “athletic” quickly come to mind, and that hasn’t changed one bit.  Connor is at his best out in transition and attacking downhill, as he will finish at the rim with ease, put opponents on a poster, and has no issue embracing contact.  He can change the game with his energy and explosive plays, but one could easily see that he has continued to add more to his game, becoming a more complete player, and showing just how effective in can be in a variety of roles. He looked better from outside, knocking down multiple threes, getting to his spots well, constantly moving without the ball and playing with a strong motor, and making those extra effort plays.  But he also provides that same energy on the defensive end, showing that competitive nature.”

“2026 6’3 Yohance Connor was a player we were excited to watch again at the start of the season, and he didn’t disappoint going for 25 points to lead his team vs. Lab U. Connor had everyone looking his way, as he put on a show with his presence on both ends of the court. Whether it was his high-flying finishes and throwdowns/ elite athleticism, his ability to create and make plays in transition, and his energy/motor on the defensive end, Connor offers a lot of intangibles that college coaches would love to have. Even though there are areas that he continues to develop on, Connor brings electricity to the court with his presence and does so in style. What ultimately makes him a game-changer in my opinion is what he provides defensively. He can strap up defenders really well, creates a ton of havoc, and allows his defense to turn quickly into offense, which is where he shows his ELITE athleticism.”
