Player: Yale Davis
Class: 2026
School: Ridge View

The talent down in South Carolina has certainly been interesting over the years and we are excited about the future as well. There are plenty of players really making a name for themselves, and Phenom Hoops had a great chance to watch one of the top programs in the state in Ridge View at the Mike Gminski Classic.

Though this is a team that sports a premier talent in 2026 Korie Corbett, one player that grabbed our attention even more with his play was 2026 point guard Yale Davis.  He is one that you simply love to have the ball in his hands, as he is a true playmaker on the court and just knows how to run the show for his team.  There is just something different when the ball is in his hands, showing tremendous quickness and handles, is so shifty in changing direction, and really impresses how he is able to operate around defenders and create. He does a great job in attacking and penetrating, kicking out to open defenders, and showing a strong ability to finish with touch and feel, over defenders, and from the perimeter.

Right now, he holds offers from Jacksonville and Nicholls, but I could easily see his recruitment starting to take off more with more programs getting involved.
