The Lady Top 80 proved to be an incredible showcase of talent, intensity, and competition, as some of the best players from across the state came together under one roof with Phenom Hoops and Lady Phenom. From start to finish, the energy was electric—players rose to the occasion, displayed their full skill sets, and left lasting impressions on everyone in attendance. It was a celebration of the game at its finest, where emerging stars and established standouts alike put on a show and reminded everyone why North Carolina continues to be a hotbed for elite basketball talent. As we look back on this memorable event, let’s highlight some of the players we saw from the event.
2026 Rebekah Hartzell impressed with her polished perimeter game and confident scoring approach. At 5’9, she’s a skilled shot-maker with a smooth, repeatable release that’s effective both off the catch and the dribble. Hartzell consistently stretches defenses with her shooting range, then uses that threat to open up driving lanes and attack off the bounce. She displays good control, reads defenses well, and makes sound decisions with the ball in her hands. Her ability to create space, score from multiple levels, and maintain poise as a playmaker makes her a versatile and reliable offensive weapon with clear next-level potential.
Throughout the event, she was able to flourish on the court as the Rider commit certainly proved herself in a big way. Fully expect her to have a big senior season, continue to develop, and be a key piece down the road at Rider.
