2026 Jyi Dawkins continues to generate buzz on the recruiting trail, as interest from college programs remains strong heading into the fall. After an impressive summer showing his explosiveness, scoring ability, and overall versatility on the court, Dawkins has started to narrow his focus and recently scheduled two key visits. With his recruitment heating up, Dawkins remains a name to monitor closely in the 2026 class.
Recruitment Update:
Dawkins has had a strong summer overall, showcasing more of his talent on the big stage. Which is why schools from around the region finally started offering him, as he picked up offers from La Salle, UNCG, Cleveland State, Campbell, Western Carolina, and Georgia Southern in the last few months. He also holds an offer from North Carolina A&T.
In talking with Dawkins recently, many of those have been staying in touch with him. “The programs that have been staying strong with me as of right now have been NC A&T, UNCG, Western Carolina, Campbell, Georgia Southern, and Cleveland State.”
He also mentioned that he has two visits set up, one with North Carolina A&T on September 13th and another one with Western Carolina on September 20th.
