The George Lynch Invitational brought teams from all around, including a very talented team from Florida in the Academy of Central Florida. A roster loaded with D1 talent, one had their pick of the litter to watch.  One player that grabbed our attention early on, and it only grew the more we watch was an unsigned senior, 2026 6’7 Felipe Minzer, who proved that he was a talent worth watching and learning about from high-major programs.

Minzer, who has been regarded as one of the top project prospects in Argentina and part of the national team, came to the Academy of Central Florida not long ago. And with his resume from overseas and what he has shown early on here in America, programs should be flocking his way with his overall skillset.

The 6’7 prospect brings a ton of versatility to the court, showcasing and impacting the game in so many ways. A highly skilled forward who is comfortable from the perimeter, as well as using his body to attack downhill, Minzer flourished as a scoring option in multiple ways and with ease. His vision and passing were exceptional, delivering on-point passes to set up teammates and displaying a high IQ feel. Scoring, rebounding, facilitating, and defending, Minzer showcased it all on the big stage, and from what we saw, his recruitment should take off quickly. Right now, he holds an offer from FIU but I expect a huge season ahead for Minzer when it comes to his recruitment.
