Player: Elhadji Diallo
Class: 2026
School: Combine Academy
Back in North Carolina, one of the top unsigned seniors here in North Carolina is off to a strong start this high school season. 2026 6’7 Elhadji Diallo, who is back now at Combine Academy, has been putting on a strong showing early on this season and proving that he can help lead the charge for his team.
In two events, Diallo has been incredibly consistent with his presence, as we had this to say after Week 1 with Phenom Hoops:
“Diallo looks to be a steady force for Combine Academy, standing out as one of the team’s most consistent and reliable contributors throughout the weekend. The 6’7 forward combines strength, touch, and an advanced feel for the game, operating effectively both around the basket and in the mid-range. Diallo utilizes his footwork and physicality to finish through defenders, while also displaying an improved face-up game and confidence in his jumper. He’s proven capable of getting downhill, creating mismatches, and serving as a dependable offensive option for his team. With his continued development and two-way presence, Diallo is quickly solidifying himself as one of the more intriguing frontcourt prospects in North Carolina’s 2026 class.” – Patrick O’Brien
Diallo brings a unique skillset to the table and has proven that he can be a consistent presence day in and day out. When you talk about his game, Diallo finds ways to not only be a physical presence in the paint in finishing but also does a great job in moving without the ball, scoring off the bounce, and bringing value in other areas. He understands how to anchor the paint on both ends, score around defenders with touch, and has the frame to be a defensive presence. Diallo can embrace contact and score, use his body well to attack the glass, and showcase the ability to step out at times.
His recruitment remains open and college programs have been recruiting him hard late, so it will be interesting to see who comes out as the program to beat.
