Player: Dane Cassada
Class: 2026
School: Moravian Prep

It is a weird time in the recruiting world, as the landscape continues to change. Players are committing earlier, players are taking different routes to continue their career, and there are plenty of underrated prospects still available in the Class of 2026.  A player that has continued to prove himself, no matter what situation or team he is on, has been 2026 Dane Cassada who is now with Moravian Prep.

Whether it has been with Calvary Day, during AAU season, or now with Moravian Prep, Cassada has shown that he can produce and help lead his team. Cassada brings a high IQ, a strong body and frame, and a relentless motor to the court that allows him to flourish in several ways.  He has proven he can be a leader and go-to option offensively, making strong drives, scoring in a variety of ways, and facilitate to others.  He also has shown he can be a strong piece on a team, stepping up when needed, showing range in his ability to knock down shots, and play within the offense without being the go-to option.  Every time we watch Cassada, he is able to bring value to the court and provide what is needed, as well as bring a competitive edge in looking to prove himself.  There is no doubt that this is a next-level prospect that should be looked at more from college coaches, and he is looking to prove that once again with a big season ahead.

What Has Been Said:

“I’m eager to see what Cassada will be able to show in a high-octane offense like Moravian Prep, but based on solely what we have seen over the high school years and summer, Cassada has continued to show that he can produce and be a strong offensive force. He has good size and a strong frame that allows him to operate and be effective from several areas. Cassada has shown that he has improved and can be a big threat from behind the arc, knocking down shots with range but also use his body well to create, finish through contact, or make the right decision in finding his teammates.  He brings good value to the table and could be a sneaky hidden gem for a program at the next level.”

“When you talk about production, Cassada should certainly be in the discussion, as this young man gets it done every time. He has a mature feel to the game, makes good reads, plays within what the team needs him to do, and also can be such a weapon offensively. One can see he continues to impress with his outside shooting but also doesn’t mind finishing in traffic, through defenders, and finding ways to get to the free-throw line.”
