Player: Caleb Jones
Class: 2026
School: Moravian Prep/ YNG Dreamerz

It has been a big two weeks for 2026 6’4 Caleb Jones from Moravian Prep/ YNG Dreamerz, as he has not only taken down the scoring record at Overtime but also has been racking up offers from college programs.

Back on January 16, I wrote an article saying that there are Late D1 Prospects to Target, saying this about Jones:

“Jones may be the sneakiest guard in the state of North Carolina that D1 programs should be looking at more. Highly underrated, Jones has simply proven and shown the ability to be a true scoring factor on the court. An effective and efficient guard, Jones can be a big threat from the perimeter with his ability to knock down shots as well as make plays off the bounce. He plays hard and makes those extra effort players that college coaches would love; true competitor that D1 should look at again.”

That night, Jones went for 59 points to break the record at Overtime. Good timing? Probably, but also, it has been easy to see that Jones deserved to be on D1 radars and to hold offers, even before his recent play. Now, fast-forward to today, Jones holds offers from Kennesaw State, Morehead State, Southern Miss, Queens, and FIU, and other schools are expressing interest.

“They said that they like the way that I score the ball in different ways and that I’m a complete player,” Jones told Phenom Hoops about the schools that have recently offered. “They also said I would fit great in their offense.”

When speaking with Jones as of late, he recently visited Queens to check out a game, while schools like Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Stanford, and others have all expressed interest. He hopes to make a visit to Ole Miss soon.
