Ashton Pierce

You probably have been seeing us at Phenom Hoops role out some tremendous content from the CP3 Rising Stars camp and we will continue to do so for quite some time, as it was a great opportunity to watch the future talents all on a big stage. Many names were familiar but there were tons of new names that also caught our eyes.

But there was one player in our own backyard that really caught our eyes even more with how he has continued to develop and what he could provide this upcoming high school season. 2026 6’2 Ashton Pierce was a familiar face at the loaded event but intrigued us with how much he has developed as an overall player in the last year or so.

When talking about his game, Pierce showed poise, IQ, and tremendous feel on the court with his game. He has a strong handle, reads and sees the floor well, and is shifty in creating off the dribble and out in transition, while also already having a strong frame that will allow him to instantly contribute at the high school level in a big way. Pierce really displayed a strong feel with his ability to score, whether it was his ability to shoot off the dribble, find open spots and knock down shots with his jumper, or his ability to penetrate and score through defenders; Pierce understands how to be a three-level scorer and has an impressive strong mentality as an incoming freshman.

With what North Meck lost from last year, especially at the guard spot, I’ve got a strong feeling that Pierce will be able to make his presence known early in his high school career. But with the experience and talent that he has earned early on, Pierce should be able to handle and make an instant impact for the Vikings this coming season. So get familiar with the name as it looks like North Meck has another start guard to really watch out for.
