Michigan State has found a lot of recent success on the recruiting trail as of late, not only landing 2026 Jasiah Jervis recently but also landing 2026 Julius Avent and 2026 Carlos Medlock Jr. for the 2026 recruiting cycle. But the Spartans aren’t done yet, as they have landed one of the premier centers in the county in 2026 7’1 Ethan Taylor from Link Academy.
Coach Tom Izzo loves having premier bigs on his roster and he has landed yet another one, as Taylor is an absolute force down in the paint and at the rim. The center finishes high at the rim with his length and moves quite well for his size, demonstrating strong footwork, quickness, and overall fluidity. That doesn’t take into account his shot-blocking and timing on the defensive end.
Taylor chose Michigan State over Kansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Oregon, and Indiana, all of which were on his Top 6 list.
