National names came rolling through the NBPA Top 100 down in Rock Hill (SC) not long ago, as some of the premier names around the country competed all under one building.  Several players elevated their play and proved why they are regarded as one of the top prospects, and 2026 6’6 Bryson Howard was one of them.

Averaging 15.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and shooting 40 percent from behind the arc at the event, Howard was a clear standout throughout the camp. Patrick O’Brien with Phenom Hoops had this to say after watching Howard in action:

“2026 6’6 Bryson Howard has had some strong plays to start the camp. Really have been liking his ability to play off the ball and knock down shots, and has showcased good athleticism on both ends of the court.  Smooth release from outside.”

When watching this young man go to work, Howard showed why he was one of the best shot-makers at the event. Howard, the son of 10-year NBA veteran Josh Howard, displayed a ton of tools that college coaches would love to have at the next level. He continues to excel with his ability to knock down shots with a smooth and confident release. Howard does a great job not only playing off the ball, opening up the defense with his perimeter game, but also his ability to get to his spots off the bounce and knock down shots with his jumper.  As a 6’6 prospect, Howard offers athleticism, skill, and shot-making, as he continues to prove he can be a strong offensive threat with even more potential.

Howard has had an excellent few weeks, and college programs have been noticing, as he has become one of the hottest targets for college programs all around the country. Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Duke, UConn, Rutgers, Virginia, Michigan, Oregon, and Maryland have all offered in June, with the likes of Indiana, Houston, Texas, Wake Forest, Tennessee, and others already offering.
