Phenom Hoops was able to tune in and watch some of the action this past weekend at the National Prep School Invitational, bringing some terrific talent to the national stage. Plenty of players made themselves a name at the event, and one player that sits near the top of that list was 2026 6’3 Promis N’landu at Fort Erie International Academy.

Watching this point guard in action, we had this to say after Day 1:

“N’landu is an impressive guard and watching him operate on the court, the point guard showed poise, control, and a leader on the court. He plays with such a poised pace, reading what the defense gives him, sees the floor, and shows patience, creating really well off the bounce as well as knocking down shots from the perimeter, and just simply looking in control on the floor. Eager to see who else gets involved with his recruitment.”

This was when N’landu led the charge with 25 points on Day 1 and then he backed that up with another impressive 32-point outburst on Day 2. N’landu impressed with his game overall and should be a point guard that sees his stock continue to rise. His pace and feel were impressive and he showed that he can do what is needed for his team.

“I think my game depends on what you want me to do because I can play defense, shoot, pass, and get a bucket in the clutch,” N’landu told Phenom Hoops. “It was hard early on because I had to learn when to pass and when to score as a pure scorer but with time, it just came naturally like you saw this past weekend. I think it has just been playing on the big stage and against good competition as well as time that has helped me flourish in my role.”

I would assume after a strong weekend like that, N’landu should see an uptick in his recruitment. Right now, he holds offers from East Carolina, Seton Hall, Detroit-Mercy, Colorado State, Stonehill, Arizona State, Canisius, George Mason, and UIC. But he also mentioned that Oregon has shown interest his way now.
