You certainly can’t miss 2025 Daniel Jacobsen when he is on the court, as the 7’2 forward certainly brings the size along with a tremendous feel for the game. Playing for JL3 Elite this summer, Jacobsen has been earning a lot more attention his way, as his recruitment continues to pick up in a big way. Phenom Hoops looks to highlight more about his game and the latest going on.
Game Description:
“I would consider myself a stretch 5. I can shoot but also play inside on the post, and I’m also a good rebounder and shot blocker. I think I run the floor and pass well too.”
How did Summer Ball go with JL3 Elite:
“I thought the summer went well. Peach Jam was awesome and helped me a lot. Personally, I was trying to showcase myself as best as possible, being aggressive and showing my skills. Also, of course, helping the team win.
Recruitment Update:
Jacobsen has been garnering plenty of attention his way, as new offers have been rolling in. When first speaking to him, he first added an offer from Boise State. “Very grateful,” Jacobsen said about the offer. “Excited about the Boise State offer; they like my size and ability to stretch the floor, as well as being a skilled big.”
Not long after, he added another big offer from Purdue, as he had a great talk with the staff when offered.
“I had a great conversation with Coach Painter, and I’m very grateful for the offer. I like they have had a lot of great big men and always are very good (program).”
We don’t see that trend of offers slowing down any time soon, as he has plenty of interests coming his way. But as far as visits, he has been able to make an unofficial visit to Notre Dame already, as getting a chance to see more of the campus and other facilities was “amazing.” But he also has plans in checking out Illinois, Xavier, and a few others but no dates have been set as of yet.
