2023 Bryce Cash has been a big-time prospect here in North Carolina and is going to be a big part of the success this season for Carmel Christian. The 6’6 senior prospect brings a lot to the table, both offensively and defensively, which is why many programs are targeting him for the future.
He recently received offers from The Citadel and Hampton, which he spoke about with Phenom Hoops. But he also holds multiple other offers; he talks to us about the latest, his latest visits, and his timeframe of when he may be looking to ultimately decide.
Phenom: I know recruitment has been going well. One of your latest offers came from The Citadel and you also made a visit there. How was that visit, what do you like about them, and what have they been saying your way'
Cash: The Citadel, they are right on the beach in Charleston, so it was a good scenery here. The coaches there see me as their primary guard, initiate the offense, and stuff like that. They see my versatility and they can see me in their offense.
Phenom: You also received an offer from Hampton. Thoughts on them'
Cash: For Hampton, it is pretty much the same thing, it is a good opportunity to show my versatility and that I play both ends. That is what they really like about me.
Phenom: You made a visit to Queens, which is now a D1 program. What are your thoughts on that program being right in your backyard'
Cash: It was cool because growing up in Charlotte, I’ve always been driving by Queens and stuff. It is kind of the same stuff as the others, they like my versatility, playing good defense and offense.
Phenom: Who would you say has been staying strong with you, whether they have offered or not'
Cash: I would say East Tennessee State, The Citadel, and Queens. But East Tennessee State is the latest one that has been in contact with me.
Phenom: Do you have any visits coming up'
Cash: No visits right now, I’m just focusing on the season right now.
Phenom: Do you have any timeframe of when you may want to decide'
Cash: I would say after the season, but it is still open for me; anything is open for me.
