After multiple viewings of 2022 LJ Thomas from Bull City Prep, one can say that he may be one of the more under-recruited prospects in the region.  That is even after saying that he holds multiple offers already.

Though Thomas has proven that he should have the attention of high majors, it has taken a little time for them to catch on but that could quickly be changing.

As far as his game, Thomas is an elite guard that has a great feel for the game, as he can initiate the offense but is an absolute scorer on the floor as well.  Whether it is knocking down tough shots from the perimeter or showing tremendous body control in driving and finishing, Thomas has proven himself as a high-level talent.

For a player of his caliber, it was interesting to see why more schools haven’t been making him a priority.  He already held offers from Mississippi State, Auburn, and Texas A&M but he has now added an offer from Southern Cal.

“I’m excited to receive an offer from USC,” he told Phenom Hoops.  “It feels like my hard work is paying off and it makes me want to work harder to be the player that can have an impact at a top-level program.”

USC isn’t the only one that has expressed their interest, as several schools have been reaching out his way.  Clemson, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, NC State, Missouri State, St. John’s, Washington, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma State are just a few that have shown interest his way.

And when speaking with Thomas, he would say Wake Forest, Mississippi State, Auburn, Virginia Tech, NC State, Clemson, and Maryland have been the ones that have continued to recruit him hard, but it could continue to increase.

With four high-major offers and other schools showing strong interest, Thomas could quickly be a hot target from schools around the country in the 2022 recruiting class.
