It seems that Clemson had their eyes on 2022 6’7 Jalen Carruth from Bella Vista Prep and on Wednesday, they provided him with his second offer, one that he is certainly excited about.

A wing prospect from Georgia, Carruth recently announced that he would be heading to Bella Vista Prep and programs are continuing to keep track of his game. Clemson is the latest one to offer and it is his first offer from the ACC, as he really likes what the Tigers bring to the court.

“Clemson is a great program,” he told Phenom Hoops. “I like their style of play, they have good academics, and they are a great school over. Their defensive pressure is the first thing I notice when watching their team play. They also run the floor well.”

The Tigers now join Xavier as the two programs with an offer on the table.  Xavier offered Carruth as a freshman and they continue to stay in constant contact with him, developing a solid relationship so far.

As far as interests though, several high-major programs have their eyes his way.  Carruth mentioned schools like Alabama, Oklahoma State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Creighton, Florida, Winthrop, and several other has all expressed some type of interest about him.

Player Description:
“I’m a high energy player. I love to communicate and I’ll do all the little things… dive on the floor, lock up on defense, and I’ll also score when needed. I’m very good in transition and I can shoot from anywhere on the floor.” – Jalen Carruth

“Jalen is a dynamic player with incredible length and athleticism. A great all-around player with great upside defensively especially. The ability to play the 1-3 and cover 1-4 with his size and basketball IQ. He would be a great addition to the program that picks him up for college.” – Bella Vista Prep HC Corey Boswell
