Players of all ages came out to compete at the Phenom Hoops ENC 150 and several players grabbed the attention of our scouts.' One guard though, that many don't know yet, sealed himself as a player to immediately watch this upcoming high school season in North Carolina.

2020 6'1 Armon Muldrew was a late sign-up for the event but once he stepped on the floor, eyes started to take notice.' Averaging 14.0 points per game at the ENC Phenom 150, Muldrew displayed an aggressive mindset with something to prove; and that he did.

Our scouts had this to say after his performance in Raleigh:

'Off the rip, you see he has a strong and explosive build. In the game, you see a vocal leadership you want your lead guards to have. Muldrow shot the ball well, touched the paint often, defended the point of attack and passed the ball with precision. Yes, not a lot of holes in his game.' ' Jamie Shaw

'We're talking about a strong, athletic and explosive combo guard that can literally score from all three levels. Muldrew plays with a lot of confidence and sports a nice blend of advanced skill set accompanied with excellent athleticism, which in return will create problems for the opposition…' ' Rick Lewis

'The shifty, quick, and explosive point guard attacked in every way and was a force scoring the ball.' His ability to get to the rim was impressive, especially when he was putting the ball on the floor and getting to his spots.' ' Patrick O'Brien

Muldrew will be playing his first year of basketball in North Carolina for Panther Creek, as he transferred from Orange Vista in California.' Back in 2017-18 for Orange Vista, Muldrew was an absolute scoring machine, averaging 26.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.2 steals per game for the Coyotes.

With those stats, he has already secured one Division I offer from UC Riverside in California but it may not be the last.' Muldrew mentioned that Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Campbell, Lipscomb, Lenoir Rhyne, and others have shown some type of interest his way.

Muldrew did play this summer with WCBA as well, getting his first taste of basketball around the Hoop State.' But he has now fully solidified himself as a must-see guard in the state with his performance at the ENC 150 and should be a guard college coaches will want to check out at Panther Creek this upcoming season.

What He Said:

How would you best describe your game'

'Well, everyone would describe my game like Westbrook because I play with a chip on my shoulder.' I'm explosive and I play an all-around game.' I may not average a triple-double but I could rack up 5-7 rebounds, 7-8 assists, and stills core 15-20 points per game.'
