Today's 5 to Know
North Carolina's Exposure Camp Session 2
By Jamie Shaw

This is the 14th Annual North Carolina's Fall Exposure Camp, the leading high school exposure camp throughout the region. For the 10th consecutive year this event sold out with prospects coming from six states to experience the exposure this camp provides. Nationally read media, Ball is Life Mix Tapes and multiple NCAA compliant scouts were in attendance. The camp has become such a hit with players wanting to gain national exposure that we have had to create two separate sessions.

Check out the players who stood above the rest…

6'6'2019 Gavin Rains
Wheatmore HS (Trinity, NC)

Rains is the ultimate win at all costs player. He does everything, across the board and does it with a passion and a fire that breeds success. Rains is a supreme athlete, with crazy bounce finishing high above the rim throughout the day. He is a strong rebounder and can defend multiple positions. Rains showed polish on the block to go along with his ability to shoot from range or take his man off the bounce. Rains is a winner, a productive player and a certain D1 prospect.

5'11' 2020 Jalen Cone
Walkertown HS (Walkertown, NC)

Cone came into camp already thought of as a Top 100 prospect in his class. He did nothing here but enhance his profile. Cone is an explosive player, who has a lightning quick 1st step and plays well above the rim. However, it is his feel for the game that sets him apart from everyone else. Cone is a master at creating space and has really taken major leaps as a true point guard. Cone is one of the more exciting players you will watch and with his poise it is hard to believe he is only going into his sophomore year.

6'2' 2020 Perez Bowser
Arborbrook (Matthews, NC)

Bowser is an absolute jet with the ball in his hands. End to end he is one of the fastest players around. He also has great control and the ability to set up team mates off the pass. Only a sophomore, no one was able to stay in front of Bowser, but when you add in his jump shooting ability he is just difficult to cover. Expect a major jump in the 2020 rankings for Bowser, he is one to watch closely from this point forward.

6'8' 2018 Kevin Obanor
Mt Zion (Durham, NC)

Obanor is an incredible force on the blocks. He is a terror on the boards, chasing everything that comes off the rim. On the blocks he has good footwork and the explosion and length to go up and viciously try and dunk everything. Obanor is the type of player who lives in the dirty work, the work that makes teams better and wins ball games. Take him for what he is and that is a double-double the second he steps on the floor.

6' 2020 Antonio Rossi
South Brunswick (Southport, NC)

Rossi is a player who flat out knows the game. He was virtually unstoppable off the bounce, getting to the rim but also showing great feel in the mid range. Rossi carries a strong frame that matches with his advanced skill set. Only a sophomore, he is one that will look to take a major leap this year and place himself firmly on the radar.
