Queen City Showcase York HS Court 2

6'11 2021 John Battle Team United

Johns length alone makes him a D1 prospect add in the fact that he has a good looking shooting stroke and the ability to create off the bounce and he has a chance to be special. John came out early getting to the midrange and knocking in a couple jumpers. After the opponents started to respect his jump shot he started to utilize a shot fake and getting to the rim. On the defensive end he was a nightmare to try and finish over.

6'2 2021 Justin Taylor Team United

Justin is your prototypical scoring point guard. Good size, reads the game well, nice midrange game, can get to the basket, and is very efficient off the bounce. When the game got tight at the end and his Team United squad started to fall behind he turned the switch from facilitating to scoring like all good scoring guards do.

6'4 2020 Case Roach

This kid is tough as nails. He was diving after loose balls, taking charges, boxing out, getting to the rim, and hitting jumpers. When Case walked onto the court and matched up with 6'11 John Battle I thought he was in trouble. But he proved me wrong and more than held his own.

6'0 2020 Nicholas Brenegan Upward Stars

Another tough guard for this Upward Stars team that gets the ball to all the right spots. After starting the game by getting his team into their offense against great length and pressure he was left open a few times and made the opponents pay. Schools need to hop on him soon because he is a big time shot maker.
